​IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL NON-CONSUMER CREDITORS – CLAIMS PROCEDURE AND CLAIMS BAR DATE OF 6/16/2025
On May 16, 2025, the Receiver issued a Notice of a Non-Consumer Creditor Claims Process and Claims Bar Date to all currently known non-consumer creditors who may potentially have a claim to assets of the Receivership Entities.  The Notice Packet containing the Notice, Creditor Claim Form, and a copy of the May 8, 2025 Stipulated Permanent Injunction may be downloaded here.  If non-consumer creditors do not submit a claim by the claims bar date of June 16, 2025, they will be barred from asserting a claim against the Receivership.
 
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS CLAIMS PROCESS IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR NON-CONSUMER CREDITORS (E.G., FORMER EMPIRE EMPLOYEES, PAYMENT PROCESSORS, AND OTHER INDIVIDUALS/ENTITIES THROUGH WHICH EMPIRE CONDUCTED ITS BUSINESS). THIS CLAIMS PROCESS IS NOT FOR FORMER EMPIRE CUSTOMERS. Consumer redress for former Empire customers (e.g., refunds, reimbursements, etc.) will be exclusively handled by the Federal Trade Commission. Former Empire customers will NOT need contact the Federal Trade Commission or take any other action in order to be considered for consumer redress.
